Creation

Coaproa was founded as a consequence of:

  • The need to face growing international competition in the Shipbuilding Sector.
  • The high proportion of purchases and outsourcing on the total cost of building a ship.
  • The need to establish new forms of cooperation with Suppliers and achieve greater integration of them in the purchasing process.
  • Negotiation power by fostering collaboration between shipyard members.
